Project is to travel to Barbados to volunteer with local organization, With I Am A Girl, a local youth serving education program. During this volunteer experience they will collaborate with the organization’s programming coordinator to learn about their organization mission, and practice mentorship through mentoring young girls. In addition to this they intend to produce and deliver 2 creative writing workshops for young girls receiving services from this program. These workshops would help empower young girls to write and use creative tools like the arts to express.
